This inaugural AoC conference will consider the range of sponsorship and partnership opportunities becoming available to Colleges as traditional 14-19 delivery structures change, and collaboration becomes a key feature of education provision.
Keynote speaker confirmed: Rt Hon Lord Kenneth Baker, Co-founder of Baker Dearing Educational Trust, Chair of Edge, and former Education Secretary.
Principals and senior managers will gain valuable insight into how Colleges can develop successful relationships with academies and schools.
Throughout the day delegates will have the opportunity to explore how direct engagement through a range of different models of collaboration including University Technical Colleges, Academies, Studio Schools and Trust Partnerships can give Colleges the opportunity to share curriculum expertise. It will also promote innovation, spread the values and ethos of further education to schools, raise aspirations towards Further and Higher Education, support Diploma delivery, meet the diverse needs of young people and provide professional development opportunities for staff.
Delegates will leave with a comprehensive knowledge of the thinking behind these delivery arrangements, and of the processes involved in their establishment from Colleges currently involved in these initiatives.
Who Should Attend?
This conference will be of interest to Principals, Vice Principals, Senior Curriculum Managers, Heads of 14-19 and partnership working.
