The new emphasis on self-regulation and local entrepreneurship means that the leadership-performance bar for colleges is being raised to a new height. Now more than ever, colleges have to face outwards, building and nourishing sometimes complex relationships. A good repute is a college’s best protection when a crisis comes, when a damaging allegation is made, when structural change has to be managed, when new contracts have to be won, when the very best must be recruited….
This is why the Association of Colleges has joined with the Chartered Institute for Public Relations to create the Certificate in Leadership for Reputation.
