Learning and Quality
The directorate of Learning and Quality is one of the largest directorates in the AoC and currently has eleven members of staff. The work of the directorate covers a wide spectrum including relations with awarding bodies, curriculum development and qualifications, 14-19 collaboration, inspection, quality issues, marginalised learners, dissemination of good practice and higher education. The directorate also manages several high-profile national projects on behalf of organisations, such as the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills, the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, Ofsted and the Learning and Skills Council.
