Association of Colleges

The Directorate has recently been commissioned by the QCA to select experts from the sector to contribute to the accreditation of Phase 2 Diplomas and to continue to advise on Phase 1.  This project commenced in November 2007.    

Phase 2 Diplomas include:

• Business, Administration and Finance
• Hair and Beauty
• Hospitality
• Land based and Environmental Studies
• Manufacturing and Product Design

AoC has invited experts from the sector to apply, and will be selecting panel members to take part in Phase 2 panel meetings, which will take place in January 2008.  These panel meetings will consist of a review of the curriculum specifications thus far from various awarding bodies, offering colleges a chance to influence the development of these Diplomas directly to QCA.
