
The AoC International Charter (AoCIC) is a kite mark for those Colleges which have made a commitment to quality assuring and taking an ethical approach to all areas of their international activity and to making the global agenda an ‘agenda for all’ – staff, students and the local communities served by the College. The Department for Business Innovation and Skills, the British Council and UKCISA have expressed their support for the Charter and AoC will work closely with these and other national bodies to achieve its international recognition.
The four principles of the AoCIC embody the goals and priorities of 'Globalisation, Meeting the Challenge: An International Strategy for FE in England' [BIS, 2008].
