Power to search students for weapons
08 June 2007Section 45 of the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (VCR 2006) has given schools a power to search pupils for weapons. AoC represents the FE sector on DfES's Working Group for School Security and has stressed the need for an equivalent power for colleges.
