Resources for College Practitioners:
Tool Kit for International Partnerships
The Tool Kit for International Partnerships was designed by Otravista for the British Council as a result of the Review and Taxonomy. It is intended as a baseline resource to assist college with designing and managing international partnerships. However, we hope that it will continue to be developed and enriched by the experience of the sector.
A range of reference and guidance materials focusing on support for international students can be found at UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA)
A Review and Taxonomy: International Partnership Models
The British Council commissioned a Review and Taxonomy of the models commonly used by FE colleges for international partnerships and the critical success factors relating to each. A number of college Principals and International Directors or managers were interviewed and the report contains a range of case studies which may provide a useful source of reference for college staff involved in designing international partnerships activity of all kinds.
AoC's International Partnerships Advisor Diane Mullen carried out the Review with Richard Preston, her partner in Otravista.
Hard copies of the report are available from Alero Scott at the British Council in London.
