Parliamentary Questions
Ministers in both DCSF and DIUS, including the Secretary of State, have to come to the House of Commons once every calendar month to answer oral questions from MPs.
Written PQs can be tabled at any time and are answered by Ministers and printed at the end of the daily Hansard. Any backbench MP can table a written PQ and Ministers have to reply.
You can read the latest Parliamentary Questions of interest to colleges in AoC’s FE in Parliament Briefing.
AoC can advise on the drafting of PQs if there is some information, local, national or regional, that you would like to find out or draw attention to.
