14 - 19 Standing Groups

The AoC runs a very wide range of advisory and policy groups and committees with its member Colleges. These groups help determine AoC policy on key issues, inform AoC activity and present directly to Government, civil servants and other key stakeholders. The groups that inform the 14 - 19 agenda are:

This group, consisting of College Principals, was recently established to focus on strategic issues affecting the 14 - 19 curriculum and to engage with other AoC Strategic Portfolio areas.

AoC has merged the 14 - 19 Delivery & Diploma Expert Groups as 98% are now planning for Diplomas.

This group's remit concerns the delivery issues associated with the 14 - 19 Reforms. Issues covered include Diploma development and delivery, Apprenticeships, Functional Skills, Foundation Learning (FL), A levels, IAG, Raising the Participation Age and the needs of young people  who are NEET
