Inspection services
Highbury College:
The service was excellent, and the consultants have provided us with a focussed agenda to take forward improvements. Staff at all levels appreciated the detailed and constructive feedback, and they feel that the process has been very positive. The week has identified what the College is doing well, what we need to improve and what we need to do to raise standards and take forward improvements.
South Nottingham College:
Overall, we were delighted with the service, which, we believe, gives us an objective external view of the quality of our provision, coupled with constructive suggestions, positively presented, to help us improve. The large majority of staff confirmed their appreciation of the rigour, impartiality and support offered by the team, who quickly won our respect.
Southampton College:
Awaiting formal evaluation form. Discussion took place with the Quality and Curriculum Manager. "The key message was the way the team had very quickly and professionally established an excellent relationship with the staff of the college, and established their own credibility". Letter from the college to the Lead Consultant indicated responses from staff had been very positive, particularly with regard to the feedback they received, which they found most helpful and constructive.
Warrington Collegiate Institute:
Very impressed by the service provided by consultants (separate verbal feedback given to Lead Consultant which indicated the value and quality of service given).
Newbury College:
We found the service offered combined informality with a high degree of professionalism and effectiveness, which is a very happy and efficient combination.
Brooklands College:
This exercise was very useful for the college and has certainly provided us with a focus of areas to work on in preparation for our next inspection. We would recommend this service to other colleges.
To help us continually improve our services, please feel free to submit your own feedback or suggestions.
