The Government is scheduled to publish a Green Paper (please click here
to download document) later this month to consult on the Machinery of Government changes and particularly the decision to transfer funding for 16-19 provision to local authorities. AoC has been working with Officials for many months on the detail of this document and is now organising a Principals’ Policy Symposium to provide members with an opportunity to debate how we should respond to the Green Paper. Spokespeople from Government will set out the main issues before the President, AoC Board Members and Officers who will lead a discussion with Principals on the key points arising from the Green Paper. This is an important opportunity for you to discuss the issues and offer your views. For a full copy of the AoC Briefing on the Green Paper, please click here
Please see the attached programme.
